It is certainly a proud moment for India that National Mobile
Number Portability is implemented from 3rd July. The Department of Telecom has
successfully rolled out the NMNP, involving 175 networks, across 22 circles.
This allows customers to retain their mobile numbers, even if they move from
one circle/state to another. Introduction of NMNP will surely increase customer
satisfaction. BSNL has to improve it’s quality of service, to retain it’s
customers.
