BSNLEU was founded on 22-03-2001 at Visakhapatnam and it is completing 15 years of it's existence within a few days. 15 years is a very short period in the history of any organisation. However, within these 15 years, BSNLEU has earned a reputation for itself among the public sector trade unions of this  country. Unwaveringly fighting against all the anti-worker policies of the government and steadfastly remaining committed to the cause of the working class, are the hallmarks of BSNLEU. The Extended CEC meeting held at Ahmed Nagar has decided that  BSNLEU's Foundation day should be celebrated in a befitting manner this year.
